Valentine's Day gives us the chance to show our creative side to the ones we love. This tutorial show you how to make a heart cake inspired by a cuddly toy. You don't need to have a special pan to make a heart shape cake. A heart cake can be created from around cake. After you cut out the heart, you need to ensure that your cake has been finished with a thin layer of buttercream frosting. Sprinkle your work area with a small amount of cornstarch to prevent the fondant from sticking. Do not use too much cornstarch. The fondant can be stained and lose luster. Once the fondant is rolled out large enough to cover the cake, it is placed gently over heart cake, then smoother over first with your hands and then with a fondant smoother.
