EASTER EGG CAKE

Beautiful cake to celebrate easter day. From a round cake it is cut out and shaped like an egg. It is covered and smoothed with white buttercream. Then it is covered with white fondant ½ centimeter thick. The design of this cake was inspired by a baby chick toy. The drawing of a baby chick is transferred to cardboard and used as a pattern to cut out in yellow fondant. The egg shell is made with brown fondant and the top is cut smaller than the bottom.
